Cho Choon Keun

Cho Choong-Keun worked in the overseas sales and marketing division at LG Electronics Inc. for 33 years, including 22 years on overseas assignments in the United Arab Emirates, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Germany. During these times, he executed customer-centric marketing initiatives to drive export growth and strengthen brand presence, accumulating extensive on-site and practical experience.

For the German and the United States markets, he participated in annual supply contract bids for major retailers. In Asia and in the Middle East and Africa, he focused on expanding exports by identifying local distributors and partners, establishing exclusive LG brand dealer network, and enhancing both sales increase and brand credibility. 

During his six-year tenure as Managing Director of LG Electronics Türkiye Sales Corporation, he expanded his expertise in overall business operations, including local SCM management, unit game plan development for major distribution channels, per-unit business KPI management, and after-sales service operations.

His export portfolio includes B2C (consumer electronics) products as well as B2B businesses such as heating and ventilation systems, system air conditioning, and solar energy products, which require pre-established business infrastructure. He has established an integrated local business infrastructure that covers project development, bidding, installation, and service management to expand B2B operations.

Most recently, he served as an Export Specialist at KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), where he supported small and mid-sized enterprises in overseas market development, exports, and marketing activities by leveraging government funding and collaborating with KOTRA's overseas offices.

At the beginning of his career, he also participated in establishing overseas production subsidiaries as a task member and consistently expanded his role as a specialist in overseas business operations.

· Expanded business in the Saudi Arabia market by establishing an exclusive dealer network of 250 stores in collaboration with three major partners.
· Entered the German market for the first time with LG-branded drum washing machines and side-by-side refrigerators in key retailers such as Media Markt, Saturn, and Promarkt, launching brand marketing initiatives.
· Signed long-term OEM supply contracts for compressors and microwave ovens with major German appliance manufacturers such as Bosch/Siemens and AEG.
