Majoring in Arabic interpretation and translation studies, she has conducted simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation, and escort interpretation at both domestic and international events. she has accumulated extensive field experience through numerous official and unofficial assignments across Gulf countries, Arab states, and North African nations.
While working at KBS World Radio’s Arabic Team, she witnessed the surge of the K-POP Hallyu wave in the Middle East firsthand. She had the unique experience of interviewing idol groups in both Arabic and Korean at the request of enthusiastic fans. She is a top-tier field expert, having also served as a liaison interpreter at various official government events.
As a university lecturer, she has taught Arabic language, Arab culture, and interpretation to both majors and non-majors. She developed a teaching methodology that uses Arab political cartoons and diverse video content to make learning Arabic—known for its high entry barrier—more accessible and engaging.
