From 1983 to 2017, I worked at Daewoo Construction for 34 years, spending over 25 years in more than 10 countries across Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East as a resident representative. Even while serving as an executive in charge of overseas sales at the headquarters, I continued to discover various overseas projects in regions such as Latin America and the CIS.
After retiring as a Division Head (Executive Vice President) at Daewoo Construction, I served as CEO of Young Hwa Engineering, Vice Chairman of KOMS Co., Ltd., and Vice Chairman of Hansung Cleantech Co., Ltd. Currently, I am the CEO (Vice Chairman) of iBigTech Co., Ltd., continuing to work actively in the field. Additionally, I founded "Construction Veterans Embracing the World," a volunteer organization for overseas construction professionals, which was officially approved as a non-profit corporation by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport in 2017. I have been serving as its representative since then. I also contribute as the head of the mentoring group for the GYBM (Global Young Business Manager, Kim Woo-joong Military Academy) program, organized by the World Management Research Association.
