Attorney Kim Deok is a legal professional specializing in Russia and Central Asia. He completed his LL.B. and LL.M. in Labor Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University and was registered with the Russian Lawyers’ Association in 2011.
Since 2014, he has worked primarily in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, gaining extensive practical experience in corporate operations, international contracts, labor relations, and local regulatory matters through his work at overseas project sites of major Korean corporations and at the overseas representative office of a Korean law firm.
His main areas of practice include international contracts, foreign investment and corporate legal affairs, labor law, recruitment and dispatch of foreign workers, establishment and operation of local entities, licensing and permits, and regulatory compliance in Russia and Central Asia. In particular, based not only on his understanding of local laws and institutions but also on many years of hands-on corporate experience in the region, he provides practical legal solutions that clients can apply and implement in actual business operations.
Attorney Kim has also carried out advisory work for various public institutions, including the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the Korea Legislation Research Institute, the Korea Labor Foundation, and Jeonnam Technopark. He continues to build strong expertise in Russia and Central Asia legal and business advisory services by providing prompt and accurate support in local legal and regulatory research, preparation of legal guides, corporate advisory services, and overseas business support.
