Won Seop Lim
With over 20 years of experience, Won Seop Lim is a seasoned tax expert specializing in both domestic and international tax advisory. Beginning his career in the Tax Division at Samil PwC, he provided a wide range of services including tax audit defense, refund claims, and general tax reviews for domestic companies, as well as international tax reviews and cross-border M&A support for outbound investments.
During his tenure at Samil PwC, he was selected as an overseas secondee and worked at PwC offices in Kuwait and Dubai, gaining hands-on experience in global tax practice.
He later served as the head of the tax team at a major Korean conglomerate, overseeing enterprise-wide tax risk management and tax planning to optimize effective tax rates. He also led the tax and international finance functions at a startup, gaining direct in-house experience in startup tax and global financial operations.
Currently, he is a Partner in the Tax Division at Seohyun Accounting Corporation, where he is committed to delivering optimal tax solutions that balance legal principles, client needs, and operational realities for both domestic and international clients.
